Obituary

 

Julia Drotar of 201 Grove Ave.,Belle Vernon,died Tuesday,May 22,1984,at 2:30 p.m.at her home following a lengthy illness.  She was 76.  Mrs.Drotar was born July 6,1907,in Daisytown,a daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth Balla.  She was a member of the Marion Presbyterian Church,Fairhope.  In addition to her parents,Mrs.Drotar was preceded in death by her husband John,July 4,1954.  Survivors include one son,John W.Drotar of Brownstown,one daughter,Mrs.James (Bertie) Bradford with whom she made her home,two brothers,Alexander Balla of Richeyville and Andrew Balla of Waynesburg,three sisters,Mrs.Elizabeth Hornak of Cleveland,Ohio,Mrs.Margaret Matto of Charleroi and Mrs.Helen Sopo of Detroit,Mich.,four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Thursday,May 24,at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Mary Howard,pastor of the Marion Presbyterian Church,officiating.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director,is in charge of arrangements.
