Obituary

Mrs.Julia Albert Demark,aged 83 years,died Sunday night,June 30,1940,at 11:30 o'clock in the home of Mrs.Isidore Verkleeren,25 Shady avenue,after an illness of several weeks.  Mrs.Denmark, a pioneer resident of Charleroi,had gone to Monessen less than a year ago to make her home with a daughter,Mrs.Eugene Pillette.  She was removed to the Verkleeren home a few days ago,the family thinking the change woud be beneficial.  However,her illness ended in death on Sunday night.  Mrs.Denmark was a well-known old-time resident of Charleroi.  She was born in Belgiuma and was among the first settlers of this community.  Her husband,Jules Demaret,died a year ago last November.  She leaves five sons,Jules Albert of Burbank.Calif.,Joseph Albert,of Charleroi,Oscar Albert and Leon of Weirton,W.Va.,and Fernon of Philadelphia;one daughter,Mrs.Eugene Pillette of 220 Oneida street,Monessen;twenty-five grandchildren,sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.    Friends will be received at the home of a daughter,Mrs.Eugene Pillette,220 Onedia Street,Monessen,until 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon when services will be held.  Interment will be made in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Chas.L.Melenyzer,funeral director in charge.
