Obituary

Julia A.Demino Stringhill,86,of 403 Ferncliff Drive,Belle Vernon,died Monday,Oct.14,1996,at 2:20 a.m.in Mon Valley Hospital,Carroll Township. Born Dec.19,1909,in Whitney,she was a daughter of the late John and Philomena Demino. A resident of the Belle Vernon area the past 60 years,Mrs.Stringhill was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. Survivors include one son,Leonard A.Stringhill at home,one daughter,Mrs. Edward (Josephine) Balog of West Deer Township,Allison Park,one brother,John Demino of Bagley,and one sister,Mary Upholster of Bagley. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,Anthony F.Stringhill,who died Oct.23,1984,one brother,Tony Demino,and one sister,Anna Desance. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where a prayer service will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.,followed by funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,with the Rev.George Saletrik as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Legion of Mary will recite the Rosary Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
