Obituary

Jules Lami,68,of 318 Oakland Ave.,Charleroi,was dead on arrival at Charleroi-Monessen Hospital on Wednesday,July 23,1969,at 1:40 p.m.after suffering an apparent heart attack at his home. Mr.Lami,who was born in Belgium,was a member of the First Christian Church,Third St.French Club and Italian Unita Society,all of Charleroi. Hhe had been a roller in the hot mill of the Allenport Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.,until retirement in 1963. He is survived by his widow,Mary Delbarre Lami,a son Clifford of Weirton,W.Va.,one daughter,Mrs.Pete (Lois) Vanderveen of Baltimore,Md.,five grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Michael A.Melinchak Funeral Home,Charleroi,after 7 p.m.July 24 and from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.July 25. Service there Saturday,July 26 at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.W.S.VanArsdale Jr.,pastor of Charleroi's First Christian Church,officiating. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Edwin Melenyzer of Monessen is funeral director.
