Judith Myers Kornosky; 67; of North Belle Vernon; died Thursday; Dec. 15; 2005; at 10:36 p.m. in UPMC-Presbyterian Hospital; Pittsburgh. Born June 18; 1938; in Rostraver Township; she was the daughter of the late Herbert Carter and Ann L. O’Hara Myers Barch. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area; Mrs. Kornosky was a member of First Christian Church of Fayette City and a retired speech clinician from Intermediate Unit I. She also was a member of the PSEA and a past president of the former Tuesday Evening Civic Club. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law; Kurt and Carissa Kornosky; of Webb City; Mo.; and daughter and son-in-law; Kerry and Frank Funair; of North Belle Vernon; a brother and sister-in-law; Timothy and Kathy Myers; of Rostraver Township; two grandchildren; Kaylee and Evan Kornosky; and a niece; Megan Myers. She was preceded in death by her husband; Eugene Army Kornosky; on April 22; 1982. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. Relatives and friends will gather Monday; Dec. 19; at First Christian Church of Fayette City for 10 a.m. funeral services with the Rev. Wayne Boring and the Rev. James R. Ramsey co-officiating.
