Judith Ann (Paholski) Sterner of 7 Fritchman Drive, Jeannette, died Friday, Sept. 23,1983 at 3:20 a.m. at her home. She was 40. Mrs. Sterner was born May 31,1943, in North Charleroi. She was the daughter of James and Julia Koslasky Paholski of Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents,she is survived by her husband, James F. Sterner; two daughters, Julianne and Jennifer Lee, both at home;a maternal grandmother,Mary Koslasky of Belle Vernon and several aunts and uncles. Mrs. Sterner lived in Jeannette for the past five years and previously had resided in Belle Vernon. She was a member of St. Barbara's Roman Catholic Church of Harrison City. A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania,she obtained a masters degree in music from Duquesne University. She was an active music instructor and therapist in the community and was an assistant professor of music at CCAC,Boyce Campus in Monroeville. Friends are being received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon, where a Prayer service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian's Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Westmoreland Home Health Hospice in Greensburg. The Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
