Joyce Phelps;age 16 months;daughter of Mr.and Mrs.Curtis Phelps of House 21;Pricedale;died in Children’s Hospital;Pittsburgh;Saturday;February 17;1945;at 5:40 p.m. She was born in Pricedale;October;1;1943;and was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church;Belle Vernon. She is survived by her parents;Mr.and Mrs.Curtis Phelps;one brother;Ronald;her maternal grandparents;Mr.and Mrs.James Newbill of Pricedale and her paternal grandmother;Mrs.Bessie Phelps of Pittsburgh. Friends will be received at the home of the child’s grandparents;Mr.and Mrs.James Newbill of Pricedale. Services will be held there Wednesday;February 21;1945;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.W.E.Hunt. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon cemetery. George M.McCrory and Son are funeral directors.
