Joyce Ann Schoenholtz,78,of Belle Vernon,died Wednesday,May 14,2014,at Monongahela Valley Hospital in Carroll Township. Born May 20,1935,in California,Pa.,she was the daughter of the late Teemon and Isabelle Kennedy Schoenholtz. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon,Mrs.Vernet was a member of the Orchard Christian Fellowship,Monessen,was a manager in the food service industry and later owned and operated Isaly's Store in Donora. She loved to work in her garden,cook,paint,play bingo and mostly enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her children,Debbie and Robert Bergstedt of Donora,Robert Vernet of North Belle Vernon,Joy and Dan Neil of Brownsville,John and Patty Pasternick of Monessen,and Tom Pasternick of Monessen,seven grandchildren,Brian,Robby,Shawn,Ryan,Teemon, Patrick and Phillip,four great-grandchildren,Lily,Ryan,Holden and Preston,and a brother,Joseph Schoenholtz of New Eagle. She was preceded in death by three brothers,Roy Schoenholtz,Loren Schoenholtz,and Wesley Schoenholtz,and two sisters,Lovelle Galiotto and Lois Burrows. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME and CREMATIONS,Family Owned and Operated,626 Broad Avenue,Belle Vernon,724-929-6183. Services will be held Friday at the Parzynski Funeral Home and Cremations at 10 a.m.with the Rev.Pastor John Custer of Orchard Christian Fellowship,Monessen,officiating.
