Mrs.Joyce Ann Gohosky Thornton of Laurel;Md.;formerly of Arnold City (Belle vernon);died suddenly Sunday;May 27;1984;at 7 p.m. in Beltzville Hospital in Laurel. She was 43. She was born in North Charleroi;March 5;1941. Mrs.Thornton was a Catholic by faith. Surviving are her parents;Rudy and Sophie Bochniak Gohosky of Arnold City;her husband;Roger Thornton of Laurel;a daughter;Christine Louise Thornton;at home and a brother;Joseph Gohosky of Arnold City. Friends will be received all day Wednesday at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where prayer services will be held on Thursday;May 31;at 10 a.m. with Rev.Father Thomas G.Rinn;pastor of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church of Fayette City officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A wake service will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 8 p.m. The Howard W.Mccrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
