Josephine Teano;88;formerly of Sampson Street;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;Dec.10;1995;at 7:52 p.m.in Canonsburg Hospital. She was born June 13;1907;in Belle Vernon. Mrs.Teano was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon;where she was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and the Garibaldi Lodge. She was preceded in death by her husband;Tony;a son;John;and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include one son;James Teano of Las Vegas;Nev.;one sister;Gilda Duda of Belle Vernon;and two grandchildren;Carole Matteo of Gaithersburg;Md.;and Anthony Butch Teano of Colony Heights;Va. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a blessing service will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon;with the Rev.John Cindric officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
