Mrs. Josephine Stagi, aged 72 years,wife of Narciso Stagi, died at the family home in 604 Orchard street, North Charleroi,at 8:15 o'clock Friday evening, March 21, 1941,following a lingering illness. Mrs. Stagi was born in Italy on July 9,1959,a daughter of the late Florindo Sichi and Mary Mucci Sichi,also natives of Italy. She came to the United States at an early age and in 1907 came to North Charleroi from Belle Vernon. Surviving are her husband; one son,Charles of Lock Four and two daughters, Mrs. Aldo Fanoni of Akron,Ohio and Mrs. Thomas G. Stanley of Belle Vernon;one brother, Louis Sici of California state and five grandchildren. The remains are at the Gaskill Funeral Home in Fourth street, North Charleroi,where friends are being received and services will be held Monday at 2 p.m.,in charge of Rev. Edwin Sloan,pastor of Belle Vernon Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Samuel H Gaskill,Jr.,is the funeral director in charge.
