Josephine Costanza Petitto;91;of 516 Rear Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;Oct.11;2000;at 3:30 a.m. in the Jefferson Health Center. She was born Dec.28;1908;in Charleroi;a daughter of the late Peter and Nicolina Todaro Costanza. Mrs.Petitto was a resident of the Belle Vernon community since 1939 and was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. A homemaker;she was a member of the Sons of Italy;Monessen Lodge. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Frank Petitto;in 1949;and a brother;Alfred Costanzo. Survivors include two daughters;Roseann Houdyschell and Mary Theresa Lux;both of Belle Vernon;five grandchildren;Jon Eric Houdyschell of Richmond;Va.;Jeffrey Houdyschell of Indianapolis;Ind.;Lisa Kutcy of Charleroi;James Michael Lux Jr.of Smithton and Cathy Joe Phillips of Morgantown;W.Va.;six great-grandchildren;Ashley Ann Houdyschell;Alyson Houdyschell;Amber Leigh Kutcy;Jenna Marie Kutcy;Britney Renee lux and Cody James Phillips;and four brothrs;Peter Costanza of Point St.Lucie;Fla.;Samuel Costanza of Charleroi;Nino Costanza of Hollywood;Fla.and Charles Costanza of Charleroi. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the LEONARD J.PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME;family owned and operated;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Prayer service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home;followed by funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;with the Rev.Donald Trexler;Parochial Vicar;as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Legion of Mary will recite the Rosary at 3 p.m. Friday in the Funeral Home. The North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department will pay its respects at 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
