Obituary

Josephine McCune Koslosky,84,formerly of the Belle Vernon Apartments,died Saturday, April 3,1993,at 3:30 a.m. in Mountain View Center, Greensburg. She was born Dec. 29,1908,in Webster,a daughter of the late John and Mary Ambrose McCune. Mrs. Koslosky was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon community,where she was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas Belle Vernon Court 1522 and the Anita Garibaldi Society of Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Koslosky,in 1974,two brothers, Patsy and Mike McCune and two sisters, Sue Staley and Virginia Mickiewicz. Survivors include one son, James R. Koslosky of Monongahela;one daughter, Mrs. Clark (Christine) Heist of Somerset,one brother, Albert McCune of Charleroi,five sisters, Rose Zeli, Angeline Kosloksy,Lena Sichi and Stella Rogers,all of Belle Vernon,and Mrs. Armour (Dolores) Michaux of Charleroi;four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where a Prayer service will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.,followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
