Josephine Hawkins Woodson of 3 Chestnut St.;Belle Vernon;died Monday;Sept.7;1981;at 11:45 p.m.in her home.  She was born Nov.21;1913;in Macon;Ga.;a daughter of the late Joseph Herman and Lucy Readic Hawkins.  Survivors include her widower;Jackson Craig Woodson;three sisters;Mrs.Jack (Anna) Faulcon of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Mary Winfrey and Mrs.Velma Logan;both of Pittsburgh;one brother;David Hawkins of Baltimore;Md.;and a number of nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received in the Draper Funeral Home;608 Sixth St.;Monessen;from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday.  Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m.in the Speer A.M.E.Church;Belle Vernon;with the Rev.William McCowan officiating.  Intement will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The Draper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
