Josephine Dorie Lytle O’Toole; 80; of Roscoe; formerly of Long Branch and Levittown; died Saturday; Dec. 2; 2006. She was born Aug. 30; 1926; in Ellsworth; a daughter of the late Joseph and Jesse Nesbit Gregg. Mrs. O’Toole was Presbyterian by faith. She was an honorary member of the Janet Ray Circle of the Roscoe Presbyterian Church; a former resident of Long Branch; having moved to Levittown following her marriage to Martin O’Toole. She held various offices in the Roscoe American Legion Auxiliary Post 801; one of which was past president. Mrs. O’Toole was a former employee of Fox Grocery in Belle Vernon and the Trenton Tin Co.; in Trenton; N.J.; where she was employed as payroll clerk. She is survived by three children; Mrs. Gary (Laura) Deavers; of Roscoe; Curtis (Doris) Lytle; of Brook; Ind.; and Virginia Miller and friend Gregg Swartz; of Levittown; three grandchildren; Marc Lytle; of Lafayette; Ind.; and Robert and Tammy Deavers; of Roscoe; one great-grandson; Trevor Griffith; of Newell; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her first husband; Robert Lytle Jr.; and her second husband; Martin O’Toole; and two sisters; Jesse Bohn and Alphareta Riley Kremp. Friends will be received at the ED MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES INC.; ROSCOE on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Janet Ray Circle will conduct a service Monday evening at 7:30. Funeral and Committal Services will be held Wednesday; Dec. 6; at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. John Rankin officiating; followed by private interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
