Mrs. Josephine Corvvin, aged 72 years, Springfield Ohio, died Friday morning, January 11,1958 at 1:25 a. m. at her home. She was a former Belle Vernon resident. She was the daughter of the late John and Ella Hammitt. Surviving are a son, Joseph Corwin of Clarksburg, W. Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Cottrell, Springfield; two brothers, William and Charles Hammitt, of Belle Vernon and two grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home, Broad avenue,Belle Vernon,after 8 p.m. Saturday evening. Funeral services will be from the funeral home on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. James C. Puz,pastor of the First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charles L.Melenyzer,funeral director.
