Obituary

Joseph Zegzdryn,aged 26 years,proprietor of the Pig and Whistle restaurant and beer garden,First street and McKean avenue,died at his home on Thursday afternoon April 10,1941,at 4 o'clock following a prolonged illness. The young man was well known locally although his home was in Fairhope. His illness has extended over a long period of time and his decline was steady. His father Kazimer Zegzdryn and one sister Catherine,at home,survive. His mother is dead. Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral home in Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday,April 13,in charge of Rev.John Pudlo of Monessen. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold Toner is the funeral director.
