Joseph Yowonske; 92; of Belle Vernon died Tuesday; December 25; 2007 in Mon Valley Hospital. A son of the late Samuel and Mary Yowonske; he was born in Fairhope on September 10; 1915. Catholic by faith; Mr. Yowonske was a coal miner; retiring in 1985. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law; Mary and Jim Hilty of Finleyville and Betty Yowonske; with whom he made his home; three granddaughters; Lori Hilty; Jamie Hilty Compeggie and Greta Hilty and two great-granddaughters; Angelina and Bridget. In addition his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife; Sylvia Skufca Yowonske on February 27; 2006; two sisters; Anna Keyock and Victoria Moran and six brothers; Frank; Sam; Walter; Alec; Steve and John Yowonske.
