Joseph Vaccaro;73;of Belle Vernon R.D.3;died Saturday;April 22;1995;at 9:57 a.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born Sept.4;1921;in Belle Vernon;a son of the late John and Rosaria Mendicino Vaccaro. A lifelong member of the Belle Vernon community;he was also a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. He was retired from the P&LE Railroad where he was employed as a supervisor. A veteran of World War II;he served in the U.S.Army and was a member of the Disabled Veterans Association. Surviving are his wife;Patricia Mae Devers Vaccaro;a son and his wife;Joseph G.and Frances Vaccaro of Belle Vernon;two daughters;Mrs.Eric (Virginia) Allison of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Gary (Roxanne) Jesionowski of Elizabeth Township and five grandchildren;Ryon Allison;Todd Vaccaro and Andrew;Matthew and Kimberly Jesionowski. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by three brothers;Anthony;Eugene and Gasper Vaccaro;and two sisters;Mary Vaccaro and Julie DiNardo. Friends will be received in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A prayer service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.in the funeral home;followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Thomas Federline;parochial vicar;as celebrant. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
