He was born June 10; 1913 in Jefferson Twp.; Son of the late John C. Turcheck and the late Johanna Chuka.

He was a member of the former Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church; Fayette City and present member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon; Pa. He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Allenport Plant.

Surviving are 2 Sons; Dr. Joseph E. Turcheck & wife Jacqueline of Reston; Va; David A Turcheck & wife Marianne of Belle Vernon; brother Louis Turcheck of Lowber; Jefferson Twp;4 Grandchildren Anya Turchec; Rebecca Giles; Paul Giles and Casey Giles.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Millie Anderson Turcheck and 2 brothers John & Floyd Turcheck; 4 sisters Mary Tisot;Justine LevandoskyAnna Turcheck; Margaret Fedora..

Friends will be received in the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home; Inc. Main St.; Fayette City on Tuesday 7-9; Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Thursday; November 5; 2009 until 9:30 AM when a blessing service will take place followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 am in the St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon with Rev.
