Joseph Tordy,aged 46 years,died Monday,October 23,1939,at 10 p.m. at his home in Pricedale. He had conducted a general store there for the past 24 years. Surviving are his wife,Julia,a son,Joseph Elmer,at home,three daughters, Elizabeth and Margaret Eleanor,at home,and Mrs. Andrew Semoncik,of Pricedale. Two grandchildren,two brothers,John Tordy,of Lynnwood,and Andy Tordy,of Lansing,Michigan,and a sister,Mrs. Steve Iski,of Rankin,also survive. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 from the St. Sebastian Church,Belle Vernon,in charge of Rev. James O'Connell. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
