Joseph T. Dorcon,80,of Fayette City,died Saturday, April 24,1993,at his residence. Mr. Dorcon was born May 25,1912, in Smock,a son of the late Matthew and Thressa Tuka Dorcon. He was retired from U.S. Steel Corporation's Irving Works in West MIfflin. Mr. Dorcon was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon and the VFW Post No. 3557 of Fairhope. He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Katherine Marinak Dorcon, three sons, Thomas Joseph Dorcon of Berlin, Dennis Michael Dorcon of Fayette City, R.D. and Joseph Thomas Dorcon of Elliott City, Md.,two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Kathleen) Weisdack of Belle Vernon and Mrs. George (Christine) Dudzinski of Fayette City,R.D., a brother,John Dorcon of Fayette City, two sisters, Mrs. Marie Squario in California state and Mrs. Jess (Anne) Casar of Agora Hills,California and nine grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,334 Main St.,Fayette City. A private funeral service and burial will be held Tuesday in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
