Obituary

Joseph T. Sadowski, 54, of Elmhurst Drive, Rostraver Township (Belle Vernon R.D.1), died Monday, June 26, 1995, at 3:40 p.m. in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, of complications from injuries sustained in an automobile accident which occurred two months ago. Mr. Sadowski was born Nov. 13, 1940, in North Charleroi, a son of the late Joseph Sadowski and Cecelia Misiak Sadowski, who survives and resides in Belle Vernon. He formerly owned and operated Sadowski's Supermarket in Lynnwood and was currently employed as a meat cutter for Giant Eagle in Pittsburgh. Mr Sadowski was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area. He was a member of St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Rostraver Township, and the BPO Elks Lodge No. 773, Monessen. Mr. Sadowski was an avid golfer and played in the Monessen Elks League. Surviving, in addition to his mother are his wife, Carol Myshin Sadowski, three sons,Joseph A.Sadowski in Connecticut,William A.Sadowski of Belle Vernon and Kevin J.Sadowski in Virginia,and two sisters,Mrs.Dwight (Cecelia) Williams and Mrs.Frank (Eileen) Sivek,both of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Hhome,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. A Prayer Service will be held Friday at 10:15 a.m.in the funeral home,followed by an 11 a.m.Mass of Christian Burial in St.Anne Roman Catholic Church,Rostraver Township,with the Rev.Thomas Rogers,pastor,as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
