Joseph Stringhill Sr.; 92; of
914 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon
died Wednesday;March 13;1968; at 9:30 p.m. in
Charleroi – Monessen Hospital.
Mr. Stringhill; who was born
in Italy in 1875; retired in 1946
from the Allenport plant of
Pittsburgh Steel Co.
He was a member of St. Sebastian
Roman Catholic
Church and was a life member
of Loyal Order of Moose; both
of Belle Vernon.
Surviving are three daughters;
Mrs. Lena Mazzei; Mrs.
Janie Mitchell and Innis Stringhill;
all at home; seven sons;
Tony; James; Frank; Freddy;
Rudolph; Samuel and Louis;
all of Belle Vernon; eleven
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at
the Harold R. Toner Funeral
Home; Belle Vernon; from 2 to
5 and 7 to 10 p.m. beginning
Saturday;March 16. Requiem High Mass will take place in St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon;at 10 a.m.;Monday;March 18;with the Rev.Martin J.O’Toole;pastor;officiating. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
