Joseph Senko,80,of 819 Speer St.,Belle Vernon,died Sunday,July 31,1994,at 3:40 p.m. at his home. He was born March 24,1914,in Monessen, a son of the late Michael and Julia Tkach Senko. Mr. Senko had lived in Belle Vernon for over 50 years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon. He was former owner/operator of Senko Market in Belle Vernon until 1965. He then worked for 15 years as a meatcutter at the Belle Vernon Red & White Store. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Senko,who died March 3,1980;and two brothers, Michael and John. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law,Joseph Aland and Donna Senko of Belle Vernon;and two sisters, Margaret Kuhar of McKees Rocks and Ann Babines of Donora. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m.,with the Rev. James Durion of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
