Obituary

Joseph S.Sisca of 305 Market St.,Belle Vernon,died Sunday April 6,1986,at 8:10 a.m.in Kenric Manor,Donora. He was 94. Mr.Sisca was born June 23,1891,in Italy,a son of the late Mr.and Mrs.Salvatore Sisca. A resident of Belle Vernon the past 75 years,he was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and the Sons of Italy,both of Belle Vernon. Mr.Sisca retired in 1958 with 36 years of service at the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation's Monessen Plant. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife,Agatha Zimmaro Sisca,April 26,1976. Survivors include two sons,Samuel J.Sisca of Belle Vernon and Amerigo Sisca of Lincoln Park,Mich.,three daughters,Mary Pyle of St.Louis,Mo.,and Rose Conn and Edith Simone,both of Lincoln Park,Mich.,ten grandchildren,18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday from 7 t 9 p.m.and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where a prayer service will be held Wednesday,April 9,at 9:30 a.m.,followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Church. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director,is in charge of arrangements.
