Joseph S.Cevtan;77;of Monessen;formerly of Fayette City;died Friday Sept.12;1997;in the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Aspinwall following a short illness. Born Feb.7;1920;in Fayette City;he was the son of the late Frank and Barbara Grgas Cvetan. He was Catholic by faith and a U.S.Army veteran of World War II. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a sister;Barbara Rade;and two brothers;Rudy and Frank Cevtan. The last surviving member of his immediate family;he is survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends will be received Sunday from noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday until 1 p.m. in the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home Inc.;Fayette City. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
