He was born in Duquesne Dec.8;1890;and was a resident of the Belle Vernon area the last 60 years. He was a member of Rehoboth Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife;Mona;on Feb.19;1964;and a son;John;in 1966. Surviving are one son;Joseph A.of Belle Vernon R.D.;four daughters;Mrs.Gail (Florence) Finley of Belle Vernon R.D.;Mrs.James (Frances) Lacey of Elizabeth;Mrs.Joseph (Constance) Greer of Monessen and Mrs.Rudolph (Mona) Spegele of Springfield;Pa.;12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received after 7 p.m.Monday at the Shelby F.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;where a funeral service will be held Wednesday;Jan.17;at 2 p.m.with the Rev.Allie A.Clayton of the Rehoboth Prebyterian Church officiating.
