Obituary

Joseph Rizzutto of 376 Ella St.,Belle Vernon,died Friday,March 29,1985, at 9:30 p.m. in the Mon Valley Hospital. He was 69. Mr.Rizzutto was born Jan.17,1916,in Belle Vernon,a son of the late Dominic and Mary Federico Rizzutto. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area,he was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. Mr.Rizzutto was retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.,Allenport Plant. He was a member of the Fayette City and Belle Vernon Golden Agers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers,Sam Richards and James Rizzutto,and by a sister,Anna Johnson. Survivors include his wife,Helen Netza Rizzutto,one daughter,Mrs.Dominic (Judy) Antico of McCandless Township,one son,Joseph D.Rizzutto of Millersville,Md.,two bothers, Albert Rizzutto of Arizona and Louis Rizzutto of Pittsburgh,four sisters,Mrs.Theresa Bernardo and Mrs.Mary Rogowitz,both of Monessen,Mrs.Margaret Bercim of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Verdon (Jean) Goshorn of Hernando,Fla.,and seven grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where a prayer service will be held Tuesday,April 2,at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.Sebastian R.C.Church. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
