Joseph R. Muccino; 49; of Belle Vernon (Rostraver Township); died Saturday; March 14; 2009; in UPMC Presbyterian; Oakland. Born Nov. 22; 1959; in North Charleroi; he was the son of Joseph A. and Irene Carlock Muccino; with whom he made his home. Mr. Muccino was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon. He worked as a front loader for Wheeling- Pittsburgh Steel; Monessen plant; and was later employed as a nuclear technician by Westinghouse; Waltz Mill. He was very athletic and loved to play sports; enjoyed gardening and loved to cook. He was a doting uncle for his three nieces and nephew. He also took great pride and was a perfectionist in his cement and block work. In addition to his parents; he is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law; Valerie and Charles Ruslavage; of Canonsburg; and Erica and Jim Jarvis; of Wexford; three nieces; Kayla and Rachel Ruslavage and Gabriella Jarvis; and a nephew; Rocco Jarvis. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon; 724-929-6183. Prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home; followed by funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Lawrence L. Manchas; pastor; as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian Parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Joseph Muccino at 3 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
