Joseph Drotar;67;of 307 Ohio St.;Pricedale;died Friday;March 23;1973;in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital at 5:25 a.m.after a short illness. Mr.Drotar was born in Budapest;Hungary on July 6;1905 and resided in Pricedale the past 50 years. He retired in 1967 after 50 years employment at the Allenport Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Surviving are his widow Christine;two daughters;Mrs.Thomas (Katherine) Parks of St.Petersburg;Fla.and Mrs.Ben (Lorraine) Parks of Lake Placid;Fla.;four grandchildren and two sisters;Mrs.John (Ann) Vekasy of Beaver Falls and Mrs.Wilmer (Helen) Wilson of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received at the Toner-Essey Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;between the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m.Sunday. Parastas service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 6 p.m. There will be prayers on Monday at 8:30 a.m.followed by additional services at 9 a.m.in Holy Resurrection Russian Orthodox Church;Lynnwood;with the Rev.John Kluchko;pastor;officiating.
