Joseph P. Hennerty,59,of 201 Ridge Ave.,Belle Vernon,died Sunday,Aug.30,1987,at 1:55 p.m. at his home. He was born May 18,1928,in Hicksville,N.Y.,a son of the late Joseph and Anne Begley Hennerty. He was a resident of Belle Vernon for the past three years. He was a U.S.Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was employed as an elecrician with Local 1253 in Augusta, Maine. Survivors inlcude his wife, Marilyn Smith Hennerty;two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Kathleen) Ambrose of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Barrett (Patricia) Wyman of Cincinnati,Ohio;two sons,Joseph Hennerty of Pittsburgh and Thomas Hennerty of Falls Church,Va.;two brothers, Thomas and Michael Hennerty,both of Long island,N.Y.,one sister,Mrs. Ernest (Katherine) Fischer of Flushing,N.Y.;and three grandchildren. Memorial services were held Monday evening at 7 p.m. at the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon with Rev. Dr. Thomas St. Clair,pastor of the First United Methodist Church,officiating. Burial was in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
