The body of Joseph Parenty,aged about 45,arrived in Belle Vernon Friday morning,June 10,1927,after having been found floating in the Delaware river at Philadelphia Wednesday night. Indentification was made through a clock card of the Aluminum Company of America at New Kensington,where it was stated the man had secured employment on March 22,and worked until May 31. While at work in the New Kensington plant it was stated he made his home at a boarding house at Arnold but left there on Decoration Day without stating where his destination would be. Details of the finding of the body in the Delaware river were lacking and it was not known if the drowning was accidential or intentional. Mr.Parenty according to Belle Vernon residents was separated from his wife there and left that section some months ago and his whereabouts were not known. The body was removed to the home of his brother-in-law,Fred Latta in East Belle Vernon from which place funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday afternoon with interment following in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
