Joseph Mori;81;of 216 Rebecca St.;Monessen;died Friday;Dec.12;1975;at 12:35 p.m. in Monongahela Division of Mon Valley Hospital. He was born in Italy on Jan.9;1895;son of the late Emilio and Clementina Mori;and lived in Monessen the past 63 years. Mr.Mori was a member of St.Paul’s Lutheran Church;Monessen;and the Italian Society of Mutual Aid;Monessen;where he was the health officer for many years. He also belonged to the Mon Valley Association of Retired Steelworkers. He had retired in 1962 from the American Chain and Cable Co.;Page Division;where he had been a machine operator. He was preceded in death by a son;Joseph Mori Jr.;who died in 1926. Surviving are his widow;Angela LaRich Mori;three daughters;Mrs.John (Dolores) Cunningham of Oak Ridge;Tenn.;Mrs.Emil (Betty) Janko of Addison;Ohio and Mrs.Chris (Mary Ann) Argyros of Plum Boro;two sisters in Italy;12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Raymond D.Dalfonso Funeral Home;Monessen;from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. in St.Paul’s Lutheran Church;Monessen;with the Rev.Gordon P.Ray;pastor;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
