Joseph Mickus, 81,of Charleroi, died Wednesday, June 14,2000 in UPMC in Pittsburgh. He was born Nov. 8,1918 in Charleroi,the son of the late Joseph Mickus and Isabella Philipsoky Garosky. Mr. Mickus was retired from Corning Glass Works,Charleroi Plant. He was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses. Surviving is a cousin, Kenneth J. Gudaitis of Englishtown, N.J. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 17,2000 in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home,Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
