Joseph Mazur Jr.;64;of 809 Cardiff Avenue;Lynnwood;Belle Vernon;was prounced dead on arrival at Mon Valley Hospital on Saturday;March 21;1981 at 12:02 a.m. Mr.Mazur was born October 19;1916 in Monessen;the son of the late Joseph Mazur Sr.and Rosalie Mazur. A retired employee of the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation’s Monessen Plant;he had served with the U.S.Army during World War II. Survivores include his wife;Mrs.Julia Previsky Mazur;three daughters;Dolores Mazur of Uniontown;Joan Rosul of Perryopolis and Ruth Mazur at home;two sons;David of Washington Township and Daniel at home;one grandson and three granddaughters;four sisters;Mary Mazur of the state of California;Helen White of Florida;Nellie Dale of Altoona and Josephine Stefansky of Monessen;one brother;Edward of Monessen;and several nieces and nephews. Mr.Mazur was preceded in death by three sisters;Mildred;Stella and Sophie;and one brother;John. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held Monday;March 23;at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
