One of Charleroi's earliest residents,Joseph Marshall,aged 92 years,a glassworker who came here from Belgium in 1890,died at 8:45 o'clock Tuesday morning,August 17,1937, at his late residence,805 Washington avenue. Mr. MMarshall,who for many years was employed by the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company,had been in ill health for the past three months. He was born in Belgium on August 24,1845. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Marie Marshall;one son,Henry Marshall,of Ford City,and one daughter in Belgium. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning,August 21,at 10 o'clock in St. Jerome's Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
