Joseph Makovsky,75,of Naomi, Fayette City,R.D.,died Saturday morning, June 20,1964,at 8:10 o'clock in the Brownsville Hospital. He was born in Poland March 2,1889 and was a retired coal miner. He was a member of the Polish National Church of Fairhope,the Polish National Alliance Lodge of Arnold City,and the United Mineworkers of America, California Local. He is survived by his widow, Sophia Makovsky,three sons, Leo of Fayette City,R.D.,Ted of Belle Vernon and Edward of Pataluma, Calif.; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Friends are being received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,where Prayer will take place Tuesday, June 23,at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Polish Catholic Church in Fairhope. The Rev. B.E. Mazewski, pastor, will officiate. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W. McCrory,funeral director.
