Joseph M.Uritzie;89;of Belle Vernon R.D.2;Rostraver Twp.;died Saturday Jan.7;1989;at 3:15 p.m.;at his home. He was born March 2;1899;in Jacobs Creek;a son of the late Michael and Anna Uritzie. Mr.Uritzie was a member of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church. He retired in 1965 from the Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;where he had been a craneman. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a son;Merle J.Uritzie;on March 3;1987. Surviving are his wife;Maggie Holod Uritzie;one daughter;Dorothy Uritzie of Belle Vernon R.D.2 and one granddaughter;Mrs.Leonard (Linda) Romansky of Stockdale. Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.;in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.in the Lynnwood Lutheran Church;with Pastor Edward Crotty officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
