Joseph L.Gadd Sr.,70,of Belle Vernon R.D.4,died Friday,January 19,1968,at 1:25 a.m.in Charleroi-Monessen hospital. Mr.Gadd was born in McClellandtown on Aug.28,1897,and had lived in the Belle Vernon area sice 1923. He was a member of Rehoboth Presbyterian Church at Belle Vernon R.D.and retired in 1962 from the office of the Monessen Page plant of American Chain and Cable Co. Surviving are his widow,Alice Hammond Gadd;a son,Joseph L.Jr.of Whitehall,and two grandchildren. Friends will be received after 7 p.m.Jan.20 at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon. Service there Monday,Jan.22 at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.Allie A.Clarton,pastor of Rehoboth Presbyterain Church at Belle Vernon R.D.,officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is funeral director.
