Obituary

Joseph Levandosky,72,of Fairhope,Fayette City,R.D.1,died Sunday,November 30,1958,at 4:25 p.m.in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. He was born in Poland,December 10,1885,and was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church,Monessen. He was a member of the United Mine Workers and retired in 1949 from the Somers Mine in Pricedale. He was also a member of the P.N.A.,976,Arnold City,and the Fairhope Rod and Gun Club. He is survived by his wife,Josephine Levandosky,three sons,Caesar,Charleroi,Zigmund,Fayette City R.D.,Edward at home,four daughters,Mrs.Jennie Badock,Fayette City,R.D.,Mrs.Andrew (Virginia) Barnot,Fayette City,R.D.,Mrs.Robert (Wanda) Jaskowick,Warren,Ohio,and Mrs.Joseph (Faye) Bilski,Fayette City,R.D.,one brother,John of Weirton,West Virginia,fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there December 3,at 9:30 a.m.,followed by additional rites at Trinity Episcopal Church,Monessen. Rev.Charles Kawalkowski of Mckeesport will be in charge,and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is the funeral director.
