Joseph Kovacs,age 73 years,died at his home in Fayette City,R.D.on Saturday,October 17,1943 at 11:45 a.m.,after a lingerng illness. He was born in Austria June 26,1870,and was a member of the Pricedale Presbyterian Church. He is survived ny his wife Mary; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Totin of Duquesne,Elizabeth Trenk of Lynnwood,Bertha Komera,Ethel Miller and Lena Sakslik,all of Fayette City,R.D.,and one brother,William Kovacs,also of Fayette City,R.D. Fifteen grandchildren also survive. Friends will be received at the late home and services will be held there Tuesday,October 19,1943,at 2 p.m.. Rev. Stephen Mulanya of Brownsville will have charge of services and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. John L. Bake is the funeral director.
