Joseph J.Thiry;80;of 429 Conrad Ave.;North Charleroi;died Monday;Nov.3;1975;at 1:40 a.m.in the Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. He was born in Charleroi on March 2;1895;son of the late Felix and Celine Thiry. Mr.Thiry was retired as a foreman in the finishing department at the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. His wife;Marie R.Mazade Thiry;died on Aug.16;1963. He is survived by a daughter;Mrs.Norma R.Ghenne of North Charleroi;with whom he resided;one sister;Mrs.Robert (Louise) Wilson of Denver;Colo.;and one grandchild;Carol Ghenne;at home. Friends will be received at the Michael A.Melinchak Funeral Home;Inc.;825 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;from 7 to 9 p.m.Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday. Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m.and interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Michael A.Melinchak is funeral director in charge.
