Obituary

Joseph Joe Druciak Jr., 82, of Naomi (Washington Township), died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006, in Mon Valley Hospital Inc. He was born Jan. 2, 1924, in Naomi, a son of the late Joseph and Ann Duda Druciak. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and a member of Brightwell-Daughtery Post 484 American Legion in Fayette City, the Naomi AC Club, the Polish Club of Arnold City, and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. Mr. Druciak was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Monessen Plant. He is survived by his wife, Helen Misher Druciak, two daughters, Deborah Cathers and husband Rick, of Belle Vernon (Fairhope), and Kristie Reece and husband Ernie, of Fayette City, three sons, Joseph Druciak III and wife Judy, of Belle Vernon, David Druciak and wife Pamela, of Deltona, Fla., and Donald Druciak and wife Lynnie Renee, of Belle Vernon, two sisters, Della Raymond, of Naomi, and Julie Mennozzi, of McKeesport, six grandchildren, Renee Cathers, Valerie Hamer, Erika Banks, Joseph Druciak IV, David Druciak Jr. and Alisha Druciak, and two great-grandsons, Colby and Ryan Hamer. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Edward Druciak, and two sisters, Mary Nutter and Genevieve Russell. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., 334 Main St., Fayette City, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 5 until 10:30 a.m., when a blessing service will take place followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Polish National Alliance Church, Fairhope, with the Rev. Felix Pyzowski as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
