Joseph J. Rade,aged 80 years,Fayette City,R.D.1 died Thursday, Aug. 6,1953 at 7 p.m. at his late home. He was born in Yugoslavia. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ann Rade; three sons, Joseph,at home,John of Detroit,Mich.,and Stephen in the state of Oklahoma;two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Eversburg,of Belle Vernon R.D. and Mrs. Rose Scott of Brooklyn,N.Y.;16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the late home. Funeral services will be held Monday,Aug. 10,at 9:30 a.m. from St. Edward's R.C.Church,with Requiem High Mass being sung,in charge of Rev. Sabol. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. John L. Bake,Fayette City,funeral director.
