Joseph J.Gluch;78;of Belle Vernon;died Friday;Dec.25;1992;at 2:05 pm.in Montefiore Hospital;Pittsburgh. He was born Oct.7;1914;in Senaceville;Ohio;a son of the late Joseph and Joanna Piscarczik Gluch. He resided in the Belle Vernon community for the past 46 years. He was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. He was a veteran of World War II;having served in the U.S.Army. He retired in 1976 after 42 years of service with the Consolidated Coal Co.;Mathies Mine;where he was employed as a cutting machine operator. Survivors include his wife of 53 years;Betty Gluch;two sons;Chuck (Carol) Gluch of Spring;Texas;and Jim Gluch of Philadelphia;two grandchildren;Karen and David Gluch;one sister;Frances McCay of Uniontown;and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by one son;Thomas Gluch;in 1968;and one sister;Anna McCay. Friends will be received Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. A Prayer service will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.in the funeral home;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
