Joseph Isadore Plens, 77,of Coal Center, died Wednesday, April 25,1962,at 6 a.m. at his home. He was born in Lithuania Sept. 26,1884,a son of Isadore and Elizabeth Pocuis Plens. He was a retired glass worker. Surviving are his wife, Myrtle Henderson Plens,one daughter, Annabelle Peck of Coal Center, one step-daughter, Minnie Powell of Connellsville,11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Caleffie-Greenlief Funeral Home in California where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28 by Rev. Louis DeCaro. Burial will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
