Joseph Hrycko; 66; of Monessen; died Saturday; Nov. 10; 2001; in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born Feb. 10; 1935; in Monessen; a son of the late John and Catherine Yonek Hrycko. Catholic by faith; he was a veteran of the Korean Conflict; serving with the U.S. Army as a cryptographer. Survivors include his wife; Sara (Sally) Horan Hrycko; three sons; Joseph Hrycko and his wife Nannette; of Finleyville; David Hrycko of Monessen; and Matthew Hrycko and his wife Beata; of Monessen; two daughters; Amy Weber and her husband Jerome; of Pickerington; Ohio; and Heather Sveda and her husband Michael J. II; of Fairhope; two brothers; Peter Hrycko of Belle Vernon and Anthony Hrycko of San Antonio; Texas; one sister; Susan Doman of Coal Center; five grandchildren; Aaron; Adam; and Andrew Hrycko; Avery Weber and John Michael Sveda. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by two sisters; Mary Christoff and Anna Hrycko; and two brothers; John and Michael Hrycko. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME; 136 North Gallatin Ave.; Uniontown. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
