Joseph H. Pensis; 66; born Feb. 2; 1939; in Stockdale; a son of the late Joseph H. and Blanche Pensis; died Wednesday; Nov. 23; 2005; from injuries sustained in a one-car accident near Coolidge; Ariz. He was a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania and the University of Pittsburgh. He was employed as an area program manager at the Arizona Training Facility in Coolidge for 32 years before retirement. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by three sisters; Rita Mitchell; of Sarasota; Fla.; Wanda Townsend; of Pittsburgh; and Jennie Queer; of Jackson; Tenn. He is survived by one son; Jody L. Phillips; of Melbourne; Fla.; one daughter; Sherry Fulmer; of Raleigh; N.C.; one brother; Leonard Pensis; of Paris; Pa.; and one sister; Wanita Mitchell; of Leetonia; Ohio. A memorial service will be held Sunday; Dec. 11; at 2 p.m. at the ED MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES INC.; 825 Fallowfield Ave.; Charleroi.
