Born in Tennessee;Nov.19;1880;he had lived in Gibsonton for the past 45 years. He was employed as a stationary engineer at Pittsburgh Steel Co’s Monessen plant and was retired in 1953. He was a member of the Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. Surviving are his wife;Pearl Leasure Story;a son;John D.;at home;four daughters;Mrs.Steffey;Mrs.William (Thelma) NcNeil;Pittsburgh;Mrs.Thomas (June) Leone;Monessen and Mrs.Dale (Betty) Williams;Gibsonton;17 grandchildren;5 great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home;262 Donner Ave.;Monessen;from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday;July 9;1960;at 2 p.m.from the funeral home;with the Rev.William Schatz;pastor of the First Methodist Church;Belle Vernon officiating.
